When Zardozr finished speaking, the dragon began to laugh as she stood over the two listening. At first it was a deep laugh but it slowly hanged to a gentle flow of a female's laughter. Where the dragon once stood, now stood Octiva dressed in her mitheral armor.
"Did you already forget who it was who served as your valkyrie?" She then walked passed him and stood slightly behind Saito and sniffed the air. "I say we make the use of poisons an act of cheating. Unless the both of you wish to be given an equal amount to be used..." As she spoke her eyes looked over Saito and at his foe before him.

Zardozr suddenly smiled as he listened to the two, not because he found anything they were saying to be amusing, but because he was imagining the pure joy he would get from killing them both. He could just imagine the pitiful look on Octiva’s face while he gutted Kuro, that alone was worth all of this effort.
“Yes, you have only just arrived and already you begin to bore me, let us be on with it shall we?” Pointing at Octiva he continued. “Do not interfere, or your death shall be a painful one.” He said not a word about her mention of poison, if pressed he would of course agree not to use poison and then simply use it anyways. Poison was always a hard thing to prove, and this poison especially, and fighting fair was simply illogical.

Indeed, it was obvious that this fight would only hold the semblance of honor. If that was the case, Inaré would be in his element...
The appearance of the dragon merely drew a short, dismissive glance...he'd fought worse and won before. Malraeth's service had forced him into many choices between certain death at the master's hand or highly probable death at another's, and he'd cheated it every time....almost always by pure skill. He did not bother to trade insults with the opposing side - this was not his fight. He was merely providing a service to zardozr...and besides, the quickest and most insulting way to deflate an insult was to communicate that it was beneath you to even do so with another. With the proper attitude, even if the other person had the last word, they'd still feel like they'd lost, or at least not won. Call it cowardly and evasive, they might. But they were not the ones who would be laughing inside... So he merely stood behind zardozr, preparing for the coming duel.

Raising a hand Red could only just see the dragon as it flew over, then as it landed behind Zardozr, Red chuckled heartily. Waving at her sister she smiled. "Hey Zar, little harsh that a dragon breathing on your back."
As Hito arived soon after her sister...Red sat on the edge of her seat. Sipping daintily on her ice cold Coke. Soon this was gonna be getting good. "Now lets make this more interesting. *Golly come on settle up on the wall behind me make some shade theres a lad!* Red said as he settled in and the shade was in place. His roar was loud as he said hello to everyone there. "Hey Any, keep the cokes coming...Bag of gold ready when you get here with the net set. Oh and a vat full for Golly he likes the tickle he gets from the fizz."

Stepping back to a nearby seat, Octiva watches Saito and Zardozr as thy seem to have become frozen in time. Glaring around, she looked for father Time or Miranda to be about...

Zardozr had waited long enough for this insulting man’s life to end. They had simply been staring at each other for quite some time now, sizing each other up and looking for weaknesses. Zardozr thought he had found one, this man was honorable and an honorable man was often very foolish when it came to things such as rules and proper conduct. If zardozr was right, this man would never expect a strike to come before the battle had been official declared to begin, so that is exactly what zardozr did.
With sudden viciousness and no warning at all zardozr moved, bringing his spear to bear in a slice instead of the traditional jab. It would not do to kill this man with a sudden sneak attack in the beginning, so zardozr did not strike to kill but to wound. Bringing the spear in for an attack at a spot near his thigh where his armor did not completely protect him. Zardozr hoped to sting him with the poison early so that it could begin working through his system. If the blow didn’t land zardozr would be ready to bring the spear back up in a counter strike before using it to shield his body from a counter attack.

*slackers*
The vendor states to himself under his breath as the combatants appear to be afraid of each other, thus stalling.... ...no matter, more stalling means more confections sold due to the boredom of the audience and thus more profits into his coffers.
