I have the TNIV; Todays New International Version.
It's 98% exactly like the NIV Bible, but they change the wording only slightly, and it doesn't change the meaning, just how some things are presented. Leseyk

I'm mostly reading King James Version and New Century Version. I also have New International Version and New Living Translation (New Testament Only). I might see if I could see what the other versions say as well, but i'm also studying Mormon studies and I want to look at the Catholic Bibles that have what's not in the Protestant versions. I'm also looking into Judaism and maybe Islam later to see what is all there as well.

The New American Bible (NAB) is the one used in Catholic Liturgy, if you're especially/specifically curious. I tend to stick to that one, but I have friends who really enjoy the translations of the New Jerusalem version. It's translated from the French, and a bit more poetic without being heavy-handed, and makes for a good text to pray with. (It also includes the deuterocanonical books - the Catholic sections - if that's what you're looking for.)
Me? I'm reading Mockingjay... |

Yus - the third one. As of yet the first was the best of them, but again, I've yet to finish...

Opened up the Bible for the first time in a long time. Started up where I left off in Deuteronomy.

Ugh, Deuteronomy! Why there, of all places? I have to say that the Torah is one of my least favorite sections of the Bible...though Genesis and Exodus are pretty cool
I just closed up The Dude; got my final tomorrow from 4-6 ![]() Les

Because that is where I left off at the last time I've read it. I've only been pecking away at it for a year and a half and in that time period I've gone from one end of the scale of being a good Christian person to the other end of being a Hell raising heathen. And I didn't really want to start over, Leviticus and Numbers were torture.
