Ohh....

FFH means Full,Full, Half.

Most of us march against devils in either the 1,1,half,Full,Full formation......

or 1,1,Full,Full,half formation.

However, it has been PROVEN that THE ABOVE formations work very well for the FC (Floating Castle) and attacking other people.

When attacking the devil troops on the map, it actually is best to evenly distribute your troops across the 5 slots.

Here is the "Cheat Sheet" for attacking devil troops on the map:

If you see a devil force listed, it means that TROOP TYPE can score a PERFECT when attacking it. That means less troops lost and less time waiting for losses to heal from the injury barracks.

If you are marching with an even distrubution and attack the proper devil force, many times you will lose NO TROOPS at all regardless of the distance to travel on the map.

Cav 4

Airwalker
Slave
Wavestalker
Leviathan
Wingless
Spellsword
Dark Knight

Cav 3

Airwalker
Slave
Wavestalker
Leviathan
Wingless
Spellsword
Dark Knight

Cav 2

Slave
Wind Huntress
Tidecaller
Arcane Channeller
Wavestalker
Skyclaw
Seastrider
Wingless
Spellsword

Infantry 6

Airwalker
Huntress
Tidecaller
Arcane Channeller
Leviathan
Skywalker
Thrall Master
Seastrider
Dark Knight

So, for example, if you are marching with Infantry 6 and Cav 2.....

the only combination in common is Tidecaller or Arcane Channeller for a perfect victory.

If you are marching with Infantry 6 and Cav 4, you only have Airwalker for a perfect.

etc, etc....

Scroll Guide

Obtaining the scrolls

There are many different types of scrolls that can be found in the game. They can be aquired from devil battles, but the easiest way is from opening chests.

Types of scrolls

Be sure to read the scroll descriptions very carefully.

1. Military scrolls- These are the scrolls that will help you in battle. I recomend these for your military heroes. Thier effects are mostly self explanitory and the effects get better as you lvl the scroll up.

2. Political Scrolls(Mayor)- I havent done much expirimenting with these but they give advantages to you mayors. (Only recomend these if you can afford to buy a lot of runes to unlock scroll slots)

3. Contest scrolls- These scrolls help strengthen your hero in contest events such as the pogada and the arena.

Unlocking your scroll slots

Each hero has three slots for scrolls, these slots however are locked and cant be used until you unlock them. These slots can be found near your skill tree button on the hero page, they look likt pictures of padlocks.

The first slot that is on the far left can be unlocked with the Knowledge Rune. You get two of these for free from quests and then if you want more they will cost you 9 diamonds(or diamond tickets) in the shop.

To unlock the second spot, or the middle spot, you will need a Wise Rune. You get one of these free from a quest, and any more you want will haev to be purchased from the shop for 49 daimonds(or diamond tickets).

To unlock the last, or far right spot, you need an Intelligent Rune. This can be obtained only from the shop for a cost of 199 daimonds(or daimond tickets).

Upgrading

Needed materials
1. The scroll you want. (There are many different types of scrolls with different effects, read their description closely. I suggest the military scrolls)

2. Scroll ash- This is obtained by "dividing" scrolls that you dont need. The lvl of the ash you get, depends upon the lvl of the scroll that you divide. Level one scrolls give level one ash, level two scrolls give level two ash ect. ect.

3. Synthesis Rune- These are also a required item for scroll upgradeing. Each upgrade attempt costs one rune. You can aquire 5 of these each day for free by accepting the Floating Castle quest and successfully deafeating the FC.

Optional Item
1. Synthesis Stones- These increase the success rate for upgrading. They can only be obtained by purchasing them in the shop with diamonds.

How the upgrading is done

1. On the top left of your screen there is a picture of a scroll, click on this and you will be taken to another screen.

2. Once there it will show you a screen with all your scrolls. Click an un needed set of scrolls and turn them to ash, you will need it.

3. Click the scroll you want to upgrade and hit synthesis.

4. The scroll will now show up on the top left below the words "target scroll". To the right of this it will show you what you need to upgrade it, and below it will show you the chance of success.

5. Click synthesize and let your luck do the rest

6. For lvl 3 scrolls you will need lvl 2 ash, for lvl 4 you will need lvl 3 ash and so on. So you will have to upgrade scrolls just to divide them for thier ash

Final notes

A player is able to upgrade a scroll to lvl 4 without paying diamonds, beyond that additional items are required and they cost diamonds. Once you equip a scroll you can not take it off or it will be destroyed, so take care with your clicking.

When upgrading a scroll it is not a sure thing, a percent chance of success will be given to you to tell you your chances.

The use of your free diamond tickets upon these runes to unlock scroll slots is in my opinion the best use you can put those tickets towards.

Thats all I can think of right now, hope this helps those that have been wanting a scroll guide.

Troop size of enemies
Content: None 0
Few 1-20
Several 21-50
Some 51-100
Team 101-200
A lot 201-300
Many 301-500
Group 501-750
Numerous 751-1000
Very Many 1001-1500
Tremendous 1501-2500
Countless 2501+

To get actual numbers have a high Spy Center, plus send all 5 spy's at once....This way EC game mechanics will send out actual enemy troop strength....High spy center lvl 12 - 15 is recommended or above.....

what is the ideal formation for defense? ...and surely there's a logic behind these formations?
